My favourite website

The online app I like the most is http://www.wikipedia.org/ as I can know more about a certain subject that I am intrigued about.

You can type the subject you want to know more about in a box below the logo above and choose what language for information of the subject to be shown.  The subject which I usually search about is The Greek Gods Family Tree as I like mythology, especially Greek mythology.  The result of the search shows me the generations of the Greek Gods, from spirits, nymphs and giants to Gods,Titans and demigods.  It looks endless and will take days, or maybe weeks to finish reading all about it.  Another of my favourite searches is about the list of Harry Potter spells. The result of the search tells you the name of the spell, what is its effect, its proper pronounciation, who uses it in the Harry Potter series of movies or books and its etymology. Etymology means the origin of a word and what language it derives from. If you want to know more about Wikipedia, click this link http://www.commoncraft.com/video/wikipedia

My Journey Starts...@ SST

When I received the confirmation letter of my posting to SST...

I could not believe my eyes when I read the confirmation letter of my posting to SST.  I was so happy I had to control myself from shouting out of joy as my efforts bore fruit. Eventhough the letter states that I have to get 200 and above as my aggregate score for my PSLE, it was still good news to me.  And with that I strived to do my best in the then upcoming PSLE.  This picture below describes the 200 selected pupils among the 2000 hopeful candidates.  The selected 200 are the orange pumpkins while the dull-coloured pumpkins are the remaining 1800 students.

When Creating This Blog...

It was quite tough, but I overcame the difficulty and manage to access this blog by reading the instructions.  The blog-making video on the SST blog also helped me understand further on practically creating this blog.  I feel that using blogging as a learning experience in SST is beneficial as we could self-reflect on our mistakes.  I feel that blogging is a way to express what is in one's mind.
